High School Teacher Creates New Educational App

The eNotebook app can be useful for students by them having basically the notes for that day from the teacher and being able to highlight important information or to rewrite some sentences in their own words.

  •     For elementary I believe the eNotebook can be useful for when they are reading a book they can highlight things.
  • In middle school the notes that are given that day they students can rewrite it in their own words.
  • In high school the kids can go through them and highlight them rewrite things in their own words.

I have thought about making an app not necessarily for school or anything but it wasn't something that I really looked into. If I made an app for the classroom I probably would make something that is a video of each day in a certain classroom and shows the teacher just teaching the lesson. It would be helpful for kids who have missed they could just watch the video and learn everything that had happened on that.

The Ron Clark Story.

I believe that these three rules are the best out of all the 55 rules he came up with.

  • Rule number  8, students should never smack their lips, roll their eyes, or show disrespect with gestures.
  • Rule number 21, child must follow protocol, must be organized and efficient and on task in the classroom.
  • Rule 46, when your child goes to the movie theater they should not talk during the film.
I like those rules because it shows character and what type of person you are. How you may have been raised it shows your personality and what not. It gives you manners and its a very important to have manners as a person you must respect people. When you meet someone you should show them respect they can only lose it as time goes on.

My own rules for Ron Clark would probably have been..

  • No talking back, think before you speak for you can hurt someones feeling.
  • No loud music unless you are given permission even then keep it to a level to where only you can hear it.

The Advantages of Technology in the Classroom.

The 5 ways technology can be useful in a classroom is by:

  • Accessing Information
  • Editing of Written Works
  • Providing Supplementary Information
  • Communicating
  • Motivating Students

I believe by having technology in my classroom is most helpful because I can access information very easily by just searching it on the net. Communicating is also another way technology has helped. It helped by talking to some of my peers and figuring out some of the work we may have to do.

Technology can also be helpful by students being able to save their work on their phone/computer or whatever they may have. No longer have to worry about my dog ate my homework or I lost it. Students can simply save their work on whatever technology device they may have.
